Probably the main reason why I love ROAMER watches is because I have one.
I have COMPETENCE SKELETON III. And it is amazing in every sense of the word.
I like to read and collect watch books, I like to notice watches on strangers’ wrists, listen to watch podcasts, and do various other things related to watches. This small article is my first contribution to this amazing community.

This beautiful watch was gifted to me by my girlfriend for my 30th birthday. And I just love it. The case is 43mm and sits nicely on my skinny wrist and since the watch is a skeleton I just can’t stop looking at it. I like to admire and listen to how the escape wheel works, I like to notice how the main spring tightens after being loosened, I like to flip it over and play with the winding rotor, and I just like to see how this beautiful piece of mechanical perfection lives.
Currently, I have had it for more than a year, and since I have an office job I wear it from Monday until Thursday (for weekends and for Fridays I have my Seiko). I like it. I more than like it. Sometimes when I sit by my desk and I just want to relax both my eyes and mind, I look at the watch face, I admire how it works, how it ticks, and how it lives.
As of now, I am not a Hodinkee-type watch journalist/writer, this is actually my very first piece about a watch. I hope you got the impression that I love it. And if you do as well then feel free to look it up at your local ROAMER dealer and grab it.
This is also the very first article published in OLAAF. Good luck.
Kind regards,
Olaaf
